7.6 Piston backrinsing
ATTENTION
When working with aqueous saline solutions, residues might collect behind the piston seal. These
residues must be removed since they can contribute to a faster wearing of the seals.
The system can be rinsed with a spraying device
filled with water. We recommend to use a tissue
at the outlet of the backrinsing to collect the water
drops.

7.7 Changing the valves
Always replace the valves in all pump heads.
For this purpose, proceed as follows:
• Remove the pump head cover.
• Loosen the screws of the pump head and
remove it.
• Using the turix wrench, loosen the valve screw
fittings on the suction and pressure tubing on
the upper and lower side of the pump head.
