5.3 Brightness Limit Value
This function is defined by the brightness sensor, the lens system and the "Lux" potentiometer.
The integrated light sensor continuously measures the brightness reflected on the ceiling
and compares this brightness value with the limit value set on the Presence Detector
(selectable from 5 to 1000 Lux).
NOTE
The Lux value set* refers to the brightness reflected at the Presence Detector
and not
to the brightness prevailing at the workplace.
As a rule, the Lux value registered by the
Presence Detector is distinctly lower than the Lux value prevailing at the workplace.
Example:
*approx. 50 Lux > corridor area: approx. 150 Lux
*approx. 150 Lux > office workplace: approx. 400 Lux
*approx. 250 Lux > laboratory workplace: approx. 650 Lux
