1. With the tiller still in the shipping crate, place it
on a hard level surface.
2. Remove the crateing top and sides and discard.
3. Remove the driveshaft from the shipping
assembly and lay aside for installation later.
4. Insert a lifting strap in the gearbox mounting
frame.
5. Carefully lift the tiller assembly from the
shipping pallet.
6. Remove parking stand from storage position
and place in parking position.

Bush Hog RTG series Tillers are shipped from the factory partially assemblied in a shipping crate and requires
some assembly before being placed into service.
Follow these instructions listed to safely remove the Tiller from the shipping crate and prepare for assembly.
