'Player'
A complete rally according to a service/return situation is trained. The player opens after a service with a
down-the-line backhand topspin. This ball is blocked into the forehand, whereupon a down-the-line
forehand topspin then follows. The 'Amicus 3000 Plus' plays a further ball onto the forehand, which is
played into the centre of the table. The rally ends with a smash by the player in response to the last high
ball from 'Amicus 3000 Plus'.

Smash
In this exercise, the defensive player trains the exchange between defence and attack. After the service
situation in each case two topspin balls from 'Amicus 3000 Plus' onto the backhand and onto the
forehand follow. The defensive player wards these balls off. After a high and a shorter topspin to the
table centre, the defensive player ends the rally with a forehand smash.
