      Andrew BellAug 22, 2025
If your Butterfly Robotics is throwing balls too high and off the table, here are some things to check: * Adjust the support legs to ensure the robot is level and plumb (vertical) on your tabletop and not leaning backward. * Tap the Head Reset button on any exercise. * Verify that the deflector plate is moving in accordance with the Trajectory Control on the Tablet. If so, change the Trajectory setting for the balls being thrown too high. * Check the head connections. * Replace the power circuit board if it is bad. * Check the calibration.

    • J
      Jeremiah PhamNov 16, 2025
If your Butterfly Robotics is throwing balls to the wrong places, there are several potential causes: * Ensure that rubber bands and a blue foam pad are removed from around the deflector plate, allowing it to move freely. * Make sure that the Random setting is turned off. * Clean the white strip by scraping off ball residue and scrubbing with a Scotchbrite pad wetted with isopropyl alcohol. If the white strip has a concave-shaped depression, adhere a repair white strip on top of the existing white strip. * Clean the sidewalls of the deflector plate by scraping residue and scrubbing with a Scotchbrite pad wetted with isopropyl alcohol. Replace the sidewall if it has a groove worn into it. * Check the pins in the head cable for bending or missing pins. Re-plug the cable securely. ...
