Automatic repeat options available
Each of these options is exclusive, and can be enabled and disabled at any time before or during a
cast. A description of each repeat mode is given below.
Repeat Cast on New SWiFT Message
This option will repeat the cast immediately upon receiving a new message from Connect.
Repeat Cast after ‘x’ minute(s)
This option will repeat the cast after a user definable number of minutes have elapsed. The timer
starts when the software has completed the current cast and has received a new message from
Connect, not when the previous cast was started.
Allowable values for this mode are 1 minute (minimum) to 60 minutes (maximum).
Repeat Cast every ‘x’ meters
This option will repeat the cast after the vessel has travelled a certain distance from the point at which
the previous cast was started. This distance is calculated using the Haversine formula, and is the
distance in a straight line, not the distance travelled along a track. This option requires that the
previous cast has completed and the software has received a new message from Connect before it
will initiate another cast.
Allowable values for this mode are 250m (minimum) to 5000m (maximum).
