11. Warranty
11.1 Scope
The winch hardware is warranted for a period of 36 months from the date of dispatch.
The winch operating software is warranted for a period of 36 months from the date of dispatch.
Defects will be corrected free of charge during this period.
Any item that fails because of a defect in design, material or workmanship will be repaired or replaced
by C-MAX without charge.
11.2 Limitations
C-MAX is not responsible for any consequential loss, nor for any failure caused by improper use,
mishandling, or unauthorised attempts at repair, nor for cosmetic or other damage which may
reasonably be classed as normal wear and tear.
In particular, if it is apparent from the condition of the profiling winch that it has been abused, then
repair or replacement of winch components will not be covered under this warranty.
11.3 Fault Reporting
Faults must be reported to C-MAX within the warranty period, quoting the equipment serial number
together with a fully detailed description of the fault symptoms, together with photographs if
appropriate.
11.4 Returns
The agreement of C-MAX is required before items are returned to the factory for inspection or repair.
The customer is responsible for adequate packing and insurance.
11.5 Transferability
The benefits of this warranty are fully transferred to the current legal owner of the equipment.
