4. To program the universal
transmitter, you will need to
enter 8 to 12 switch positions.
Write down the number and
position of each switch.
An example of the switch
positions is shown above.
Use the following information
to determine the proper
switch position.
- If a switch is near the top,
write "left" next to the switch
number.
- If a switch is in the middle,
write "middle" next to the
switch number.
- If a switch is near the bottom,
write "right" next to the
switch number.
5. Simultaneously press and
hold all three universal
transmitter buttons for about
three seconds to activate the
programming mode.
The indicator light should
begin to blink slowly.
Note:
- Do not allow more than
two and a half minutes to
elapse when entering the
switch positions. Otherwise,
you will have to start the
procedure over.
6. Enter the switch positions.
Begin with switch 1.
Use the following information
to program the proper switch
position.
- If a switch is "left", press the
left button.
- If a switch is in the middle,
press the middle button.
- If a switch is "right", press the
right button.
Repeat this step for each
switch setting.
