3.4 Getting started with the Ride CAKE App
Download the app to access features, and to make vehicle customizations
1. In App Store or Google Play, search Ridecake and download the CAKE app.
2. Create an account and then connect your bike using the Connectivity ID
that you received in an email at the vehicle delivery.
3. Power on the vehicle, see Powering on.
4. Once logged in, standing by the vehicle, enable Bluetooth on your mobile
device.
5. When asked to pair with Cake, answer Yes. => The vehicle is connected to
your mobile device. You can start using the below app features.
• Battery level check
• Track rides
• Troubleshooting
• Bike movement, vehicle location/GPS
• Activate alarm
• Trigger alarm and play sound
• Change cadence
• Remote disable
• Metric change on display
6. Remember to activate your alarm in the app to keep your bike protected
from theft. See Activate alarm under 3.5
3.5 Overview of functions
Battery level check
Your main battery state of charge is available for your convenience in the app.
If your bike is equipped with multiple batteries then the main icon will show
the total average state of charge level of all connected batteries. It’s possible
to press the battery icon on the home screen to see each individual battery
state of charge.
By pressing the bike on the main page you can also access an overview that
shows the location of each battery and their respective charge level.
