Mainten an ce i s very important for keeping your vehicle in sa fe operating c ondition.
The vehicle shoul d be serviced as per the ma intenanc e s ch edule.

tion care.
A repai r shop or pers on of the ow ner' s choos ing may maintain, replace, or repair
emission control devices and systems. These instructions do not requi re c om po-
nents or service by BRP or authoriz ed Can-Am deale rs. Although an authorized
Can-Am dealer has an in- depth technical knowledge and tools to se rvi ce the
Can-Am ATV, the emission- re lated wa rranty is not conditioned on the use of
an a uthoriz ed Ca n- Am dealer or any oth er estab lishment with which BRP has a
comm ercial relationship. For emiss ion-related warranty claims, BRP is limiting
the diagno sis and repair of emission-related pa rts to the authoriz ed Can-Am
dealers. Fo r more information, please refer to the

contained herein. Proper maintenanc e is the owner’s responsibility.
A wa rra nty clai m may be denied if, a m ong other things, the owner or operator
caus ed the problem through improper main tena nc e or use.
You must follow the in structio ns for fuel requiremen ts i n the fuelin g section of
this manual. Even if gasoli ne containing greater t ha n ten volume percent ethanol
is readily a vailable, the US EPA issued a prohibition against th e u se of gasoline
containin g greater than 10 vol% ethanol that applies to this vehicle. The us e of
gasoline containing greater than 1 0 vol% ethanol with this engine ma y harm the
emission control system.
WARNING
Failure to properly maintain the vehicle according to the maintenance
schedule and procedures can make it unsafe to operate.
Follow the a ppropriate mainten an ce i nterv als according to the environ m ent where
the vehicle is used: normal environment or extre m e en vironm ent (mud, w ater,
dust).
POST OPERATION CARE AFTER EACH USE IN AN EXTREME ENVIRONMENT
Rinse t he vehicle and its components wit h fresh water
Clean the CVT air filter (refer to

Drain the CVT com partment (and clean if any water or mud is found)
Inspect and cl ean engine air filter. Clean if any water or mud is found ( refer t o

Inspect and drain the air fil ter housing (and clean i f any water or mud is found) (refer to
