1 With the engine running, plug the car
battery cable into the cigarette lighter
socket.

Insert the battery pack all the way into the
battery charger as shown.
z Align the arrow on the battery pack and the
arrow on the battery charger to correctly insert
the battery pack in the charger.
z The charge indicator will light red while the
battery pack is charging. It will change to green
when the charge is complete.
z After charging, remove the battery pack and unplug the car battery cable
from the cigarette lighter socket.
z The battery will stop charging whenever you turn the engine off, so be
sure to unplug the car battery cable from the cigarette lighter socket.
z Wait until the engine is running again to plug the car battery cable into
the cigarette lighter socket.
z The car battery charger can only be used in a negative ground car. It
cannot be used in a positive ground car.
