Why is my Canon SX6 Projector not turning on?
    • W
      Wesley HollandAug 23, 2025
There are several reasons why your Canon Projector might not be turning on: * The power cord may not be connected correctly. Ensure it's properly plugged in. * If you've just connected the power cord, wait until the POWER indicator turns red before attempting to turn it on. * The projector cannot be turned on immediately after being turned off. Wait a while before pressing the POWER button again. * The safety device may have activated if you put the projector in a carrying bag while the cooling fan was rotating, or if the air intake/exhaust vent is blocked, causing the internal temperature to increase. Unfortunately, you cannot release the safety device yourself.

      Angela GrayAug 25, 2025
If the projected image from your Canon Projector is blurry, consider these potential causes: * The image might be out of focus. Try adjusting the focus. * The lens cap might still be on. Remove it. * The distance to the screen may be too short. Ensure it's at least 1.2 m (3.9'). * The projector might not be straight in front of the screen. Correct the angle or use the keystone adjustment function. * Condensation may have formed on the lens if the projector was moved from a cold to a warm place. Wait for it to evaporate. * The lens may be stained. Clean the lens.
