Why is my Canton Smart Vento 9 buzzing?
    • J
      John SalasNov 25, 2025
If your Canton Stereo System is buzzing, it could be due to several reasons: * Signal cables from the source device to the speaker system are too long (Analog Line): Use shorter and/or higher quality signal cables. * The signal cable isn't shielded or the shield is defective: Replace the cable with a shielded and/or higher quality cable. * A ground loop is present: Connect all devices connected to the speaker system with a safety plug to a power strip (multiple socket). * A non-interference suppressed consumer is on the same mains phase: Turn off possible interference sources for testing; have the device suppressed for interference, or connect the source of interference to another mains phase (consult a specialist if necessary); insert a “sheath current filter” between the amplifi...

Why does my Canton Stereo System speaker system not turn on automatically?
    • J
      Jeffery MurphyAug 26, 2025
If the Canton Stereo System speaker system does not turn on automatically, the standby function may be set to NSB, requiring manual power on. Switch the standby function to AUT. Also, ensure the speaker system wasn't turned off via the remote's “ON / Standby” button or the TV remote's “Power” button (if using IR learning). If so, switch on the speaker system via the “ON / Standby” button of the remote control and wait until it automatically switches to the standby mode next time. To prevent the TV remote from turning off the speaker system, delete the “Power” button command from the speaker system. Also, the signal at the Line, Balanced or USB input could be too low; increase the output level on your source device.

Why does my Canton Smart Vento 9 Stereo System unintentionally switch to the BT input?
    • J
      Jordan MorganAug 27, 2025
If your Canton Stereo System is unintentionally switching to the BT input, it might be due to system sounds from your mobile device, such as keyboard typing. Deactivate the function BTS (setting on MAN). Alternatively, disable these system sounds on your end device.

    • M
Mr. Patrick Tran DDSAug 28, 2025
If your Canton Stereo System speaker system turns off automatically, the standby function ECO, AUT or NSB might be activated. Select the standby function MAN. If an infrared command for STB has been learned incorrectly, relearn the infrared command for STB.

Why does my Canton Smart Vento 9 device unintentionally change the input?
    • E
      Emma WardSep 15, 2025
If your Canton Stereo System device unintentionally changes the input, and the SEL function is set to on AUT, ensure that no signal is present at any other input during playback at the Line, Balanced and USB inputs, or that a device is switched on at the optical and coaxial digital input. If this happens when your mobile device issues system sounds, such as typing on the keyboard, disable these system sounds on your end device. Alternatively, set the SEL resp. BTS function to MAN.

    • S
      Susan HinesSep 12, 2025
If there is no sound from one of the speakers on your Canton Stereo System, and the parameter SLC is set to WRD, ensure the master is connected to the slave via a coaxial cable. If there is no cable connection, set the parameter to WLS or establish the cable connection.

Why doesn't my Canton Stereo System change inputs automatically?
    • M
      Michaela WeaverSep 14, 2025
If your Canton Stereo System does not change inputs automatically, the source device on the coaxial or optical digital input might not be switched off, or it doesn't switch off its S/PDIF transmitter in standby mode. To switch from the coaxial or optical digital input, the source device must be switched off. Alternatively, the signal at the Line, Balanced or USB input may be too low; increase the output level on your source device.

Why is there no playback via Bluetooth® on my Canton Stereo System?
    • R
      Richard WilliamsSep 5, 2025
If there is no playback via Bluetooth® wireless technology on your Canton Stereo System, ensure there is a connection between the speaker system and the mobile end device. If the mobile end device is paired but not playing, reconnect it. Also, set the volume on the mobile end device to the maximum possible value and increase the volume of the speaker system. Ensure that sources of interference, such as a WiFi router or a laptop, are not placed in close proximity to the speaker system. If you are using both WiFi and Bluetooth® on a mobile end device, disable WiFi. Finally, reduce the distance between the speaker and the mobile end device, as you may be out of range (max. 10 m).

Why can't I select the BT input via the Input buttons on my Canton Smart Vento 9?
    • G
      garrettzunigaSep 3, 2025
If the BT input cannot be selected via the “Input” buttons on your Canton Stereo System, the function BTS is likely activated. In this case, switching happens automatically when the speaker system detects an audio signal from the end device.
