Always ensure the ceramic hob is well ventilated and the air inlet and outlet are not blocked.
Ensure the hob is in the correct installation space. As shown below:

NOTE:
For safety the distance between the hob and the cupboard above should be at least 760mm.
There are ventilation holes around the outside of the hob. YOU MUST ensure these holes are
not blocked by the worktop when you place the hob in position.
The rear wall, adjacent and surrounding surfaces must be able to withstand an temperature
of 90°C.
