2.8 User terminal connection
The maximum distance between the μPC and user terminal is shown in the following table.
cable type power supply distance power supply
telephone 10 m
taken from the
μPC (150 mA)
AWG24 shielded cable 200 m
taken from the
μPC (150 mA)
Tab. 2.e
Note:
a maximum of one terminal (pGD0, pGD1, pGD-i) can be connected;
the graphic terminal and other terminals are always powered with a separate power supply;
only one terminal (the PLD terminal to connector no. 3 or alternately th-Tune to connector n.ro 4) can be
connected, if the maximum cable-lenght is < 10m;
the protocol supported (RS485 / tLAN protocols) is confi gured by the 3-pin jumper.
Both are not available at the same time (RS485 / tLAN protocols).
2.9 Valve control
max power input for each valve 7 W
valve type single-pole stepper
valve connector pins 6
power supply 12 Vdc ±10%
max current 0.3 A for each winding
minimum winding resistance 40 Ω
maximum cable lenght 2 m without shield-cable
6 m with shielded cable connected to ground both on
valve side and electronic controller side (E2VCABS3U0,
E2VCABS6U0)
Tab 2.f
Note:
the UPC*****M* model can manage two diff erent valves. The 2 valves cannot run simultaneously but
in sequence;
only one valve can be connected to each connector;
the step frequency is selected by software;
select the right valve to heve better performances.
