Simultaneous Auxiliary Heat
When enabled, the thermostat will allow the auxiliary heat to be used at the same
time as the heat pump. The default value changes depending on the type of
auxiliary heating that is used. For non-dual fuel applications (electric resistance
auxiliary heating), the default setting is enabled. For dual fuel applications (fossil
fuel auxiliary heating), the default setting is disabled.
Default: Enabled for electric resistance auxiliary heating applications
Disabled for Hybrid Heat

NOTE: The auxiliary heating type is set and can only be changed in the Guided
Setup or reconfigure equipment processes.
