Compressor Configurations
Cooling Differential Temperature
The minimum difference between the indoor temperature and the cooling
setpoint before the system will turn on for all occupied comfort profiles (Home,
Wake, & Sleep). A setpoint of 70
o
F with a cooling differential temperature setting
of 0.5
o
F, will energize cooling at 70.5
o
F . As part of the energy savings
algorithms, this differential temperature setting is relaxed by 1
o
F for unoccupied
comfort profiles (Away). In the example above, if the thermostat is in the away
mode, then the system will delay energizing cooling until the indoor temperature
reaches 71
o
F.
Default: 0.5
o
F
Options: Between 0.5
o
F and 3
o
F in half degree increments
On Thermostat:
