Ifyourmachineisdisabled,youmustmakeajudgmentifthemachinecanbemovedwithoutdamage.Ifpossible
repairthemachineatthejobsite.
Themachinemustbeattachedascloseaspossible.
Thedisabledmachinemustbemovedonlyfarenoughtoreachasaferepairlocationorontoatrailer.
Beforemovingadisabledmachine,youmustbeabletoanswerthesequestions:

Doesthetowingmachinehavebrakingandsteeringcapacityforboththemachines?
•
Doesthetowinghardware,chains,cableshavethepropercapacitytomovethemachinesafely?
•
Willthedisabledmachinehavesteeringandbrakingcapability?
•
Whilemovingthemachine,itwillcausedamagetodrivetrainormovingpartsthatlacklubrication?
Additionalconsiderations
•
Becertainthatallpersonnelinvolvedareshieldedintheeventthattowingapparatusmightbreak.
•
Anoperatormayonlybeallowedonthetowedvehicleifithassteeringandbrakingcapability.
•
Alwaysblockthedisabledmachinewheelsbeforereleasingthebrakesordrivetraincomponent.

Usethelugsatthefrontandrearrollerframefortowing.
Fixthearticulationjointarrester.Interconnect“A”and“B”
portoftravelpumpbyturningthescrewsonmainrelief
valve.
Releasingbrakeonaxle
1.SwitchOFFtheengineandtheparkingbrakeswitch.
2.Closethevalve(1)belowtheoperator’splatformetc.
