Thefollowingpre-operationcheckshastobecarriedouteverydaybeforestartingtheengine.

Checkthefuellevelinthefueltankandtopupifrequired.

Fillindieselfuelintimesoastoavoidunnecessarybleedingofthefuelsystem.
○
Fueltankshouldalwaysbeatleast30%fulltoavoidairlock.
○
Donotspilldieselfuelontheengine.
○
Ifthefuelsystemhasbeenrunempty,itisnecessarytobleedairfromthesystem.
•
Checkhydraulicoillevelinthetankandtopupifrequired.
•
Checkengineoilandtopupifrequired.
•
Visuallycheckforleakagesanddamagestoelectricalcomponentsandconnections.
•
Visuallyinspectandensurethatallthedoorsandcoversareclosedandlocked.Notoolslikespanners,screw
driversshouldbeleftonthemachine.
Duringtherst50hofoperation(newmachineorafteranenginebuild),makesureyoudothefollowing:
•
Operatethemachineinnormalloadsfortherst50h.
•
Keeptheengineatnormaloperatingtemperature.
•
Donotruntheengineatidlespeedforlongperiodsoftime.

Itissuggestedthatyouruntheengineatfullthrottlewhenoperatingconditionspermitandwhensafe.
Donotruntheengineatidlespeedforlongperiods.Thiscancauselowoperatingtemperature.Lowoperating
temperaturecancauseacidsanddepositionintheengineoil.

1.CheckwhethertheArticulationjointarrestorisremoved.
2.Ensurethatalltheminiaturecircuitbreakers(MCB)areSwitchedONattheMCBplate.
3.Thedriveleverandtheexciterswitchmustbeintheirneutralposition.
4.Pushtheacceleratorleverbacktotheidlingposition.
5.Movetheparkingbrakeswitchtotheoffposition.
6.Inserttheignitionkeyintotheignitionswitch(10)&turnitclockwise.
