1.Removeprotectiveconnectorcapsonlyimmediately
priortoassembly.
2.Inspectthecomponentstoensurethatthemaleand
femalethreadsandsealingsurfacesarefreeofburrs,
nicks,andscratches,oranyforeignmaterial.Donot
useifimpuritiesarefound.
3.Placethefaceofthefemaleconnectoragainsttheface
andO-ringofthemaleconnector.
4.Threadthenutcompletelyontothemaleconnectorby
hand.
5.Completesteps1through5forbothendsofthehose
ortubebeforecontinuing.
6.Hand-tightenanyclampsthatholdthepositionofthe
hoseortube.
7.Tightentheconnectiontothepropertorquevalue.See
thetorquetablesforthepropertorquevalue.
8.Completetighteningofanyclampsthatholdthehose
ortubeonlyafterbothendttingshavebeenfullytight-
ened.
