Chapter 3: Commands and Programming
1 Auto-ID
If Auto-ID is not activated, voltage in the range 0 to 5V is used.
2 Voltage (±10V)
3 Current (±10A)
Based on Vin input, 1V = 1A.
4 Resistance (1k% to 100k%)
5 Period (0.000004 to 50 seconds)
See “Period and Frequency Measurement” in Appendix A.
6 Frequency (0.02Hz to 250kHz)
See “Period and Frequency Measurement” in Appendix A.
7 Temperature (–20°C to 130°C)
8 Temperature (–4°F to 266°F)
9 Light (100 to 999)
10 Voltage (0 to 5V)
Post-Processing Parameter
This parameter specifies the type of post-processing to be applied to sam-
pled data. The initial default for this parameter is 0.
0 None (no processing)
1
d/dt (first derivative)
Only the
d/dt indicator is on the display when this type of post-
processing is selected.
2
d/dt and d
2
/dt
2
(first derivative and second derivative)
The
d/dt and d
2
/dt
2
indicators are on the display when this type
of post-processing is selected.
3 Statistics (mean, standard deviation, minimum, maximum)
Derivative and statistical post-processing are performed using values pro-
duced by conversion equations.
Post-processing is disabled whenever the number of samples parameter
of Command 3 (SAMPLING/TRIGGER SETUP) is –1, which specifies
real-time display of sampled data.
Stat Samples Parameter
This parameter is used during statistical post-processing to specify how many
samples should be used for post-processing. This parameter is valid only
when 3 (statistics) is specified for the post-processing parameter. A value
from 2 to 512 can be specified for this parameter, and The initial default for
this parameter is 10.
