Each Currency
Exchange key can
be linked to a set of
in-drawer totals.
The decimal place position and
the monetary
symbol
following the currency
exchange
operation can
be specified
for
each
Currency
Exchange
key. When
the
in-drawer total amounts are
printed on
reports, however,
they are
reported
in
the
local
currenry,
according
to the
number of decimal
places,
and
using the
monetary symbol for the
local currency.
The
CE-4700

which drawer opens
when a Currency
Exchange
key is pressed. When a
transaction is paid
for using the
local
currency
only, the drawer assigned
to the clerk
registering the transaction
opens.
When a transaction
is paid for using a
foreign currency only,
the
drawer programmed to the Currency
Exchange
key that
is pressed
opens.
When a
transaction is paid
for using
a
mixfure of
local and
foreign
currency,
or
when
currency exchange
is
requested, two drawers open:
the one
assigned
to the clerk
registering the transaction,
and the drawer
programmed
to the Currenry
Exchange key that
is pressed.
