3. INITIALIZATION
Important:
Main PCB (E261-1 PCB) supplied as spare parts have been pre-installed application and diagnostic
software without LOCALE code.
Then LOCALE code should be set at fi rst when you replace a main PCB from spare parts in your stock.
Initial LOCALE judgment/settings

Does Flash ROM information exist ?

No
Set the Mode switch to the position other than [OFF].
Set LOCALE code.

Unplug from AC outlet.
Wait 10 sec., then plug into AC outlet.
( Restore INIT )

After IPL is completed.
Go to the setting procedure by destination.

Diagnostic program mode
Remove the memory protection batteries from battery compartment and unplug the power cord
from AC outlet.
After 10sec. or more, set the memory protection batteries into battery compartment and plug the
power cord into AC outlet.
Tips:
Regarding to deletion of the LOCALE information
In diagnostic program mode, input the following command.
