Replacing the Pulley A

Replacing the Pulley A
The procedures stated in this section should be performed by two
persons.
 REMOVAL
1. Detach the frame cover, and then remove the V-belt.
(See [MS-4: Replacing the V-Belt ]:  REMOVAL.)
2. Install the cotterless gear crank removing/fastening tool, and
rotate it counter-clockwise by using a wrench to remove the
crank nut. (Fig. 1)
3. Change the direction of the cotterless gear crank removing/
fastening tool, and rotate it clockwise to remove the pulley A
from the crank shaft. (Fig. 2)
 ASSEMBLE
1. Assemble the pulley A into the crank shaft.
2. Firmly tighten the pulley nut by using the cotterless gear crank
removing/fastening tool and a wrench. (Fig. 1)
3. Mount the V-belts, and then mount the frame cover.
