CATLER RECOMMENDS SAFETY FIRST

PLACED, GLASS CARAFE AND WATER
TANK CONTAIN RESIDUAL HEAT
EVEN AFTER USE. AVOID CONTACT
WITH THESE SURFACES. THERE IS
ARISK OF BURNS.

NEVER FILL THE COFFEEMAKER
ABOVE THE MAXIMUM LEVEL
BECAUSE HOT FROTHY COFFEE MAY
OVERFLOW WHILE BEING HEATED.
• Use the appliance according to the instructions in the user’smanual. Otherwise, injuries,
damage to the appliance or adangerous situation may result.
• The appliance is intended exclusively for brewing  ltered co ee. Use the appliance only
for the purposes for which it was designed.
• Before connecting the appliance to apower socket, check that the rated voltage on its
rating label matches the electrical voltage in the power socket.
• Connect the appliance only to aproperly grounded socket. For safety reasons, we do not
recommend using multi-socket adapters or extension cords.
• Do not place the appliance on windowsills, kitchen sink drainboards or unstable surfaces.
Always place it on astable,  at, and dry surface.
• Do not place the appliance on or near an electrical or gas stove, or in the vicinity of an
open  ame.
• Never use the appliance in the near vicinity of abath, shower. or swimming pool.
• Do not use the part of the appliance on which the glass carafe is placed, or the water tank
lid as asurface for placing objects on.
• Only use the appliance with the original accessories that came with it.
• Use the appliance with the glass carafe that came with it. Do not over ll the glass carafe or
place it on other sources of heat or use it for heating liquids or food in amicrowave oven.
• Do not use the appliance with aglass carafe that is cracked. If the glass carafe exhibits any
signs of damage, it must be replaced with anew one.
