- Troubleshooting Guide -
■ Liquid Nitrogen has flooded
vessel through internal
vents (V Series units only)
■ No lights
■ Liquid level display show-
ing incorrect reading
■ Remote alarm working
improperly or not at all
• Liquid level has become too
high inside the vessel walls
because of stuck solenoid,
user error, etc.
• Blown fuse
• No power at wall outlet
• AC power cord not plugged in
• ON/OFF switch in OFF position
• Obstructed pressure port
• Loose sensor hose
• Unit out of calibration
• Remote alarm wires connect-
ed to the wrong terminals
• Shut off manual valve on
liquid supply, wait for the
liquid to settle and do one
of the following:
- Carefully bail liquid out of
vessel using approved cryo-
genic container and proper
personal safety equipment, or
- Wait for liquid to evaporate
from vessel on it's own
• Replace with one amp fuse
• Use live power source
• Plug the AC power cord into
a wall socket
• Move power Keyswitch into
the ON position
• Clear blockage from pressure
port in bottom of vessel
• Check sensor hose connection
• Calibrate unit using the
calibration guide on page 31
• Reconnect wiring using the
guide on page 14: Remote
