4.5 Commands Putty
Connect a service cable to the green POS connector of the terminal and the COM port of your computer. Establish a
connection with PuTTy. Once the connection has been established the following commands can be used to show or change
the current TCP/IP settings of the terminal:

Show a list of commands that can be used
‘get info’
Show information about the device (versions, IP
configuration)
‘set ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx’
Enter a static IP address
‘set gw xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx‘
Enter a gateway
‘set nm xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx‘
Enter a Netmask
‘set DNS 1 xxx.xxx.xxx’
Enter DNS 1 (some connection use names)
‘set DNS 2 xxx.xxx.xxx’
Enter DNS 2 (some connection use names)
