5 OPTIONAL FUNCTION
5.1 Transparent
The payment application that provides magnetic stripe cards track-data for the POS is called “Transparent”. This is the
payment application that handles magnetic stripe cards and is able to show display texts as provided by the POS (PMS).
The only status that can be shown is whether it is being supported or not. This is based upon a TMS setting.
5.2 Flexo
Flexo is the payment application that is capable of running scripts that handle cards and is able to show display texts as
provided by the POS (PMS).
Scripts can have a lot of functionality, they are all stated here.
The Flexo-service “Mifare for Motion” delivers these scripts with the following functionalities:

o This is the script that generates the Mifare-UID on a CardPayment
request, see the OPI documentation for details.
o UID CARDCHECK
o This is the script that generates the Mifare-UID on a CardValidation
request, see the OPI documentation for details.

o This is the script that generates the Mifare-UID on a CardDetect
request, see the OPI documentation for details.
o DISPLAY AND BEEP
o This is the script that can display and beep on request of the POS, see
the OPI documentation.
