Replace the terminal and/or SCR-B50 in case of registered
fraud codes and try to reactivate the hardware afterwards.

and try to reactivate the hardware afterwards.

A wrong SCR-B50 variant is connected. Replace the SCR-B50
and try to reactivate the hardware afterwards.
9.2 External damage of components
Replace components in case of external damage.
9.3 Card read errors
Clean the card reader with a cleaning card in case card read errors occur. Perform a few test transactions after you have
cleaned the card reader. Replace the SCR-B50 if card read errors occur persistently.
9.4 Errors occurring
Included in the following appendixes you will find lists of error codes that might occur and are shown on transaction tickets
or log files.

9.5 General communication problems
Perform the following actions if communication problems occur.

Try to start a contact TMS.

Ping the terminal IP address..

Try to start a connection with the terminal over serial. Check the TCP/IP settings and software configuration
version of the terminal and if the hardware is activated.
Activate the hardware or correct the TCP/IP settings if needed and retry the preceding actions

Reboot the terminal and retry the preceding actions.

Test the communication connections with the CCV Connection Test Tool. You can download this tool via the CCV
Software Portal (www.ccv-softwareportal.nl).

Replace the terminal and check if this resolves the problem by repeating the preceding actions. If replacing the
terminal does not resolve the problem there may be network problems that need to be resolved.
