Fan noise from
the induction
hob.
A cooling fan integrated
in this induction hob has
been activated to prevent
overheating of the
electronic components.
It may still operate even
after turning o the
induction hob.
This is usual and you do not need to worry.
Do not unplug the hob from the mains while
the fan is operating.
Cookware does
not heat up and
does not appear
on the display.
The induction hob does
not detect the cookware
because it is not suitable
for induction cooking.
The induction hob does
not detect the cookware
because it is too small
for the cooking area or is
not centred in it.
Only use cookware designed for induction
hobs. Check the ‘Selection of the suitable
cookware’ section
Centre the cookware and make sure its base
matches the size of the cooking area.
The induction
hob or a
cooking area
has turned o
unexpectedly,
emits a
sound and an
error code is
displayed
(usually
alternating with
one or two digits
on the cooking
timer display).
Technical fault. Write down the letters and numbers of the
error, disconnect the induction hob from
the mains and contact the ocial Cecotec
Customer Service.
The induction hob is tted with a self-diagnostic function. With this function, the technician
can check the operation of dierent components without de-installing the induction hob from
the worktop.
