After entering the required arming sequence (i.e. any valid user code entering), the exit delay parameters determine the amount of times a user has to leave the protected area
before the panel arms the partition (or the entire system).
Example: If the exit delay 1” is to be set to 20 sec. and the exit delay 2” is to be unchanged, enter: |020||#|. After the first 3 digits the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps and after [#] key, the
keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the section, waiting for a new command to enter another section. To exit the main programming menu”, press [#] key gain.
Notes:
1. For the exit delay timers any value from 000 to 999 may be entered, but the panel will automatic adjust the introduced value by modulo 256 and will record the result in memory
as programmed value. If the result of adjustment is 0, then the appropriate “exit time” is 0 and after any valid user code entering for system/partition arming may cause
unexpected alarms!
2. Each exit delay time applies to all zones in the selected partition as follows:
- If partitions were allowed by programming in [020] section, then the exit delay 1” applies to all zones in the first partition and the exit delay 2” applies to all zones in the second
partition;
- If partitioning were not allowed by programming in [020] section, then the exit delay 1” applies to all zones in the system and the exit delay 2” will be no longer considerate by the
panel.
Section [038]: Burglary / Fire siren Timers
These timings (“burglary siren timer” and “fire siren timer”) establish “siren activation timings” in case of any “fire alarms” and audible “burglary alarms” respectively will occur in the
system.
While the system is being within “main programming menu, to set the burglary/fire siren timers, select section [038] and enter 2 groups of 2 digits each (01 to 99 minutes
for each timer).
After the first 2 digits, the keypad buzzer will sound 3 beeps and after the next 2 digits, the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the section, waiting for
a new command to enter another section.
To exit the “main programming menu”, press [#] key.
Example 1: One may want to program the burglary siren timer” at 3 minutes, without modifying the fire siren timer”. In this case enter |03||#|. After the first 2 digits, the keypad buzzer will
sound 3 beeps and after [#] key, the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the section, waiting for a new command to enter another section. To exit the main
programming menu”, press [#] key.
Example 2: One may want to program the burglary siren timer” at 2 minutes and the fire siren timer” at 10 minutes. In this case enter |02||10|. After the first 2 digits, the keypad buzzer will
sound 3 beeps and after the next 2 digits, the keypad buzzer will sound 6 confirmation beeps and the panel exits the section, waiting for a new command to enter another section. To exit the
“main programming menu”, press [#] key.
Notes:
1. A fire alarm may be triggered by a “fire” zone type or from the keypad by simultaneously pressing of [7] and [9] keys. Because any fire alarm are only as “audible” and “pulsing” type, the
“fire siren timer” is triggered every time when a fire alarm is triggered;
2. The “burglary siren timer” is triggered by any other zone types (different of fire) or from the keypad (by pressing [*]+[#] or [1]+[3]), only if the alarm triggered by the respective zone
types (or by special commands from keypad [*]+[#] and [1]+[3]) are “audible” (they activates the siren, too);
3. Once any audible zone” activated the siren and triggered the burglary siren timer” (or fire siren timer”), then that zone will not retrigger any more this “-siren timer” each time it will get
violated, but that zone will keep recording alarms in the first 9 alarm memory and into the 800-event LOG as well. At the same time, the control panel will send the respective alarm codes
(and/or voice messages) to the central station” (and/or to the programmed follow me phone numbers by voice/sound dialer) each time that zone gets violated. If another audible zone” is
violated while the siren was previously started, then the siren timer” will be retriggered again, but during one siren activation period only first violation of each audible zone” will retrigger
this timings. That means if a zone triggered the siren timer” once and then, during the same siren activation period, its loop closes” and opens” for several times, then that zone will not
trigger again the siren timer”, but it will keep recording alarms in the first 9 alarm memory and into the 800-event LOG as well. Then, when the siren stops sounding, another violation of
the same audible zones will make again siren sounding and siren timer triggering”.
