seat

springs

attempt

load

springs
by
shortening

clevises
after
alignment.
Preload
is
built
into
steering
tubes.

clevises

rod

NOTE
DO
NOT
adjust
rudder
trim
with
steering
tubes.

steering
travel
cannot
be
adjusted.

install

moved

NOTE
On
aircraft
WITHOUT
rudder
trim
tab,
a
flight
test
may
determine
the
need
for
rigging
rudder
slightly
off-center.
Such
correction
should
be
made
by
tightening
one
rudder
cable
at
clevis
and
loosening
the
opposite
one
an
equal
amount,
thus
keeping
nosewheel
steering
system
and
rudder
pedals
aligned
while
rudder
is
shift-
ed
minutely.
DO
NOT
attempt
to
rig
rud-
der
by
adjusting
nosewheel
steering
system.
On
aircraft
WITH
rudder
trim
tab,
flight
test
aircraft
to
determine
if
ground
adjust-
ment
of
fixed
trim
tab
is
necessary.
DO
NOT
rig
rudder
"off-center"
unless
trim
tab
does
not
provide
adequate
correction.
IWARNING'
Be
sure
rudder
moves
in
correct
direction
when
operated
by
pedals.
