Borescope inspection of the combustion section may
be required for a visual assessment as part of the on-

The following are the inspection areas for the combustion

Panel 1 features 2 igniter holes (with ferrules), and
medium and large dilution holes. Four of the large
holes are used as borescope ports.
Panel 3 features medium dilution holes.
Inspection of SAC inner liner.
The inner liner has a dome band and 4 panels.
Panel 1 features medium and large dilution holes.
Panel 3 features medium dilution holes.
There are many lm cooling holes under the overhang
between each panel of the inner and outer liners.
Both inner and outer liners have a thermal barrier coating
(TBC) on their inner surface.
