Toe-in adjustment (14 117 0)

Wheel Alignment Ruler
Inspection
1. Operate toe-in adjustment with a wheel
alignment ruler on a flat ground according to
the instruction.
• Check suspension and steering
components, to confirm that there is no wear.
• Check and adjust the tyre air pressure if
necessary.
• Ensure that the automobile is in the kerb
mass. The standby tyre, the lifting jack and the
driver's tool are all in the right place. Get out
other tools or goods.
• Press the automobile up and down, to make
the vehicle suspension system in the normal
position.
Adjustment
1. Turn the steering wheel to the central position
and lock it.

2. Loosen the locking nuts of the ball head of the tie
rod.
3. Rotate the locking nuts of the ball head of the
tie rod clockwise or counterclockwise to adjust
the toe-in.
4. Lock the locking nuts of the ball head of the tie
rod.

5. Check the toe-in.
