How to fix Char-Broil 463343015 Gas grill igniter when it doesn't spark?
    • E
      edwardrussellAug 15, 2025
If no sparks appear at any electrodes when the Electronic Ignition Button is pressed and no noise can be heard from the spark module on your Char-Broil Gas grill, the battery may not be installed properly; install the battery, ensuring that the “+” and “–” connectors are oriented correctly, with “+” on the cap end. It could also be due to a dead battery; replace it with a new alkaline battery. Another cause might be that the button assembly isn't installed properly; unscrew the button cap assembly and reinstall it, making sure the threads are aligned and engaged fully. Finally, the spark module may be faulty, and you should replace the spark module assembly.

How to fix one burner not lighting on Char-Broil 463343015 Gas grill?
    • A
      Angela PopeAug 21, 2025
If one burner does not light from other burners on your Char-Broil Gas grill, it is possible that there is grease buildup or food particles in the end(s) of the carryover tube(s). Clean the carry-over tube(s) with a wire brush.

Why does my Char-Broil 463343015 Gas grill flare up?
    • Z
      Zachary GuzmanAug 25, 2025
Flare-ups on your Char-Broil Gas grill are often due to grease buildup. Clean the burners and the inside of the grill/firebox to resolve this. Also, excessive fat in the meat can cause flare-ups, so trim the fat before grilling. Finally, lower the cooking temperature if it's too high.

Why is the flame so low on my Char-Broil 463343015 Gas grill?
    • A
      Anthony ReynoldsAug 28, 2025
A sudden drop in gas flow or low flame in your Char-Broil Gas grill can be due to several reasons. First, check if you are out of gas and refill the LP cylinder if needed. Second, the excess flow valve might have tripped. To fix this, turn off the knobs, wait 30 seconds, and light the grill. If the flames are still low, turn off the knobs and the LP cylinder valve, disconnect the regulator, reconnect it, perform a leak test, turn on the LP cylinder valve, wait 30 seconds, and then light the grill. Lastly, a vapor lock at the coupling nut/LP cylinder connection could be the cause. Turn off the knobs and LP cylinder valve, disconnect the coupling nut from the cylinder, reconnect it, and try again.

What to do if flames blow out on Char-Broil 463343015?
    • F
      fernandezjeffreyAug 31, 2025
If the flames on your Char-Broil Gas grill are blowing out, it could be due to high or gusting winds; turn the front of the grill to face the wind or increase the flame height by turning the gas valve to a higher position. It could also be that you are low on LP gas, so refill the LP cylinder. Another cause might be that the excess flow valve tripped; refer to the “Sudden drop in gas flow” section for the solution.

Why are sparks weak on my Char-Broil 463343015 Gas grill?
    • Z
      zolsonSep 4, 2025
If sparks are present but not at all electrodes or not at full strength on your Char-Broil Gas grill, check the output lead connections and reconnect all output connections at the module and electrodes. Also, look for arcing to the grill away from the burner(s) in a dark location. A weak battery can be the cause, so replace it with a new alkaline battery. If the electrodes are wet, use a paper towel to remove moisture. Cracked or broken electrodes can also cause this issue, so replace them if necessary.

What causes a grease fire in my Char-Broil 463343015?
    • M
      melissa73Sep 7, 2025
If you have a persistent grease fire in your Char-Broil Gas grill, turn the knobs to OFF and turn the gas off at the LP cylinder. Leave the lid in position and let the fire burn out. After the grill cools, remove and clean all parts, because the grease is trapped by food buildup around burner system.

What is a flashback on a Char-Broil Gas grill?
    • A
      Amanda MitchellSep 12, 2025
If you experience a flashback (fire in burner tube(s)) with your Char-Broil Gas grill, it’s likely that the burner and/or burner tubes are blocked. Turn the knobs to OFF and clean the burner and/or burner tubes. Refer to the burner cleaning section of the Use and Care guide for detailed instructions.
