      Gregory HarveyAug 15, 2025
If one burner does not light from other burners on your Char-Broil Gas grill, it may be due to grease buildup or food particles in the end(s) of the carryover tube(s). Clean the carry-over tube(s) with a wire brush.

If no sparks appear at any electrodes when the Electronic Ignition Button is pressed on your Char-Broil Gas grill and no noise can be heard from spark module, check the battery orientation and make sure it is installed properly. If the battery is dead, replace it with a new alkaline battery. Ensure the button assembly is installed correctly by unscrewing the button cap assembly and reinstalling it, making sure the threads are aligned and engaged fully. If the issue persists, the spark module may be faulty and needs replacement.

Why is my Char-Broil 463432215 Gas grill flaring up?
    • V
      Victoria ArnoldAug 26, 2025
Flare-ups on your Char-Broil Gas grill are often due to grease buildup. Make sure to clean the burners and the inside of the grill/firebox. Also, excessive fat in the meat can cause flare-ups, so trim the fat before grilling. Finally, reduce excessive cooking temperature by adjusting to a lower setting.

Why is there a sudden drop in gas flow on my Char-Broil 463432215?
    • M
      Maria CohenAug 29, 2025
If you experience a sudden drop in gas flow or low flame on your Char-Broil Gas grill, start by checking the gas level in your LP cylinder. If that's not the issue, the excess flow valve may have tripped. To resolve this, turn off the knobs, wait 30 seconds, and then light the grill. If the flames are still low, turn off the knobs and the LP cylinder valve, disconnect the regulator, reconnect it, and perform a leak test. Then, turn on the LP cylinder valve, wait 30 seconds, and light the grill. It could also be a vapor lock at the coupling nut/LP cylinder connection. Turn off the knobs and LP cylinder valve, disconnect the coupling nut from the cylinder, reconnect it, and try again.

What to do if flames blow out on Char-Broil 463432215?
    • V
      Vanessa PriceSep 1, 2025
If the flames on your Char-Broil Gas grill blow out, it could be due to high or gusting winds. Try turning the front of the grill to face the wind or increase the flame height by turning the gas valve to a higher position. Another cause could be low LP gas, so refill the LP cylinder. Also, the excess flow valve might have tripped; refer to the troubleshooting steps for a sudden drop in gas flow.

    • A
      Anthony ReyesSep 4, 2025
If you have a persistent grease fire in your Char-Broil Gas grill, it's likely due to grease trapped by food buildup around the burner system. Turn the knobs to OFF, turn off the gas at the LP cylinder, leave the lid in position, and let the fire burn out. After the grill cools, remove and clean all parts.

Why are sparks weak on my Char-Broil 463432215?
    • C
      Christopher BrooksSep 12, 2025
If sparks are present but not at all electrodes and/or not at full strength on your Char-Broil Gas grill, the output lead connections may not be connected properly; remove and reconnect all output connections at the module and electrodes. Arcing to the grill away from the burner(s) could also be the issue; if possible, observe the grill in a dark location, operate the ignition system, and look for arcing between output wires and the grill frame. A weak battery can also cause this problem; replace the battery with a new alkaline battery. If the electrodes are wet, use a paper towel to remove the moisture. Lastly, check if the electrodes are cracked or broken, indicated by sparks at the crack, and replace them if necessary.
