  If you experience a sudden drop in gas flow or low flame with your Char-Broil Grill, it could be due to an empty gas tank or a tripped excess flow valve. First, check if there is gas in the LP cylinder. If the tank is not empty, turn off the control and tank knobs, wait 30 seconds, then turn the tank knob on slowly and light the grill. If the flames are still low, turn off the control and tank knobs, disconnect the regulator, reconnect it, turn the tank knob on slowly, and then light the grill.

  If the flames on your Char-Broil Grill are blowing out, it could be due to high or gusting winds, low LP gas, or a tripped excess flow valve. You can turn the front of the grill to face the wind or increase the flame height by turning the gas valve to a higher position. If that doesn't work, refill the LP cylinder. You can also refer to the troubleshooting steps for a sudden drop in gas flow.

  Flare-ups in your Char-Broil Grill can occur due to grease buildup, excessive fat in the meat you're grilling, or excessive cooking temperature. To resolve this, clean the burners and the inside of the grill/firebox. Trim fat from meat before grilling, and adjust (lower) the temperature accordingly.

  If your Char-Broil Grill has a persistent grease fire, it's likely due to grease trapped by food buildup around the burner system. Turn the knobs to the OFF position and turn the gas off at the LP cylinder. Leave the lid in position and let the fire burn out. After the grill cools, remove and clean all parts.
