If your Checkpoint Security System is alarming continually, ensure that tagged articles and metallic objects are not within 6 feet of the antenna. Robert KingAug 18, 2025
If your Checkpoint Security System antenna isn't alarming when tested with labels/tags, first check if the red light is illuminated on the badge board at the base of the pedestal. Then, use the provided key to check if the system is enabled. To enable the system, turn the switch clockwise for 1 second and return to the center. The LED will blink slowly for 20 seconds and then go solid. To disable the system, turn the switch clockwise for 4 seconds, then return to the center; the LED will blink rapidly for 20 seconds before going solid. If the light is on and the system is enabled, re-test the system. If the issue persists, contact the Checkpoint Systems service desk.
