left side, open bleeder valve an d bleed until all air bubbles dis·
appear. Close bleeder valve.
7. Connect bleeder tube to the front, rear wheel cylinder on
left side,
open bleeder valve and bleed until all air bubbl es dis·
appear. Close bleeder valve.
8. Connect bleeder tube to left front wheel cylinder, open
bl
eeder valve and bleed until all air bubbles disappear. Close
bleeder valve.
9. Connect bl eeder tube to the rear, r ea r wheel cylinder on
the right side, open bleeder valve and bleed un til all air bubbles
disappear. C
lo se bleeder valve.
10 . Connect bleeder tube to the front, rear wheel cylinder
on the
right side, open bleeder valve and bleed until all air
bubbles disappear. Close bleeder valve.
11. Connect bleeder tube to the right front wheel cylinder,
open bleeder val
ve and bleed until all air bubbles disappear.
Close
bleeder valve.

2. Connect bleeder t ube to hydrovac slave cylinder, open
bl
eeder valve and bleed until all a ir bubb les disappear. Close
bleeder valve.
13. Conne
ct bl eeder tube to hydrovac valve bl eeder valve,
open bl
ee d er valve and bleed until all air bubbles disappear.
Close
bleederira lve.
NOTE : It is Unportant to bl « d th e hyd rovac: both before and ar ter
bleeding the wh~ l cylinders .
1 4. Adju st upper shoe on each rear wheel.
15 . Push down hard on th e br ake pedal several times to cen·
tralize th e shoes, then readjust all brake shoes.
16. Apply approximately
75 pounds pressure on the brake
pedal and check the pedal clearance from the toe board to the
forward edge of
the pedal pad. This clearance should be a
minimum of
3ih inches with the floor mat in place.
