covers

plate

wheels.
Expand
brake
sh
oes
by
turning
ad-
ju
sting
screw
until
a
light
drag
is felt
on
the
brake
drum
(6g. 50),

en
back
off
adjusting
screw

notches
and
rep
lace

the
toeboard,
brake
adjustment
is
needed.
1.
Raise
the
truck
and
place
stand
jacks
front
and
rear
so
that
aU
four
wheels
rotate
freely.
2.
Disconnect
the
parking
brake
cables
at
the
cross
s
haft
lever.
This
precaution
shou
ld
be
taken
to
eliminate
the
possi-
bility
of
the
brake
shoes
dragging
th
e
drum
due
to
misadjust-
ment
of
the
parking
brakes.
