200 Vehicle care
The spare wheel is located in the load
compartment beneath the floor
covering. It is secured in the recess
with a wing nut.
The spare wheel well is not designed
for all permitted tyre sizes. If a wheel
wider than the spare must be stowed
in the spare wheel well after changing
wheels, the floor cover can be placed
on the projecting wheel.
Caution
This spare wheel/tyre assembly is
for temporary emergency use
only.
Replace with regular wheel/tyre
assembly as soon as possible.
Do not use tyre chains.
Do not install any tyre on this
wheel which is not identical to the
original.
Do not install on other vehicles.
Place alloy wheel face upward.
Place steel wheel face downward.
Temporary spare wheel
Use of the temporary spare wheel
could affect driveability. Have the
defective tyre renewed or repaired as
soon as possible.
Only mount one temporary spare
wheel. Do not drive faster than
80 km/h. Take curves slowly. Do not
use for a long period of time.

Full-size spare wheel
Use of a spare wheel that is same as
the other wheels or together with
winter tires could affect driveability.
Have the defective tire replaced as
soon as possible.

Directional tyres
Fit directional tyres such that they roll
in the direction of travel. The rolling
direction is indicated by a symbol
(e.g. an arrow) on the sidewall.
