6. MAINTENANCE OF
THE SDMATIC
6.1 Periodic maintenance
The SDmatic does not require particular preventive maintenance.
Cleaning
Once a week, proceed to a cleaning of the apparatus using a
damp cloth.
Wipe the surfaces of the oval hole through which the flour flows
out by blowing carefully (low pressure compressed air) or with a
brush.
Verification
Periodically verify the accuracy of the apparatus by performing tests
on known flours (control card type).
If the difference between the results is higher than 3%, check the
measurement chain (page 82) and contact your Chopin agent if
necessary.
6.2 Problem solving
Replacement of the fuse
If the apparatus does not light up and after having verified that the
power supply is correct, replace the fuse of the SDmatic.
Unplug the apparatus, then open the fuse holder with a small
screwdriver and replace the fuse.
The fuse is located at the back of the apparatus behind a cache.
Fuse characteristics: 5x20 T 1A 250V.
If an error message is displayed, refer to the following table (next
page).
For a deeper troubleshooting, use the control menu (see
page 82).
If the SDmatic is not used for a long time, keep the
measurement devices in distilled water.
