Power Connections
Warning
The safety cover is an integral part of the product. Do not operate the unit without the safety cover
installed. Operating the unit without the cover in place will invalidate the safety approvals and pose
a risk of fire and electrical hazards.

Step 7 Secure the wires using cable ties as shown in Figure 3-47. The chassis has a cable-tie attachment below
and to the right of the terminal block.
Step 8 Turn on power to the DC circuit.

Wiring the DC-Input Power Supply in Cisco 3660 Routers
If your router has a DC-input power supply, follow the directions in this section for proper wiring.
DC Wiring Requirements
