Power Save Mode, Auto Power Off
In order to extend the operating time of the battery, a mode is provided in which
the printer will automatically switch to Power Save Mode or turn itself off if a certain
amount of time passes without printing, communication or controls being performed.
Selecting which mode to use and the length of time after which it is activated is
performed from the utility.
Auto Power Off will turn off the power entirely, therefore requiring the power to the
turned back on before the printer can be used.
Power Save Mode will place certain printer functions into sleep mode.
Normal mode can be restored either by pressing the FEED button or by sending data
to the printer.
The initial part of any data sent will be ignored, so start by sending a code of 2 bytes
or more, such as a NULL that does not print anything or operate any function.
