Why won't my Clarke Pressure Washer engine start?
    • T
      Troy DavisAug 14, 2025
Your Clarke Pressure Washer engine might not start due to several reasons: there may be no fuel, so add fuel; the oil level might be low, so add oil; the spark plug wire may not be correctly attached, so attach the spark plug wire; the engine switch may be in the OFF position, so set it to the ON position; the choke lever may be set to the choke position when the engine is warm, so set it to the NO CHOKE position; the fuel valve may be closed, so open the fuel valve; or pressure builds up after two pulls, so squeeze the gun trigger to relieve the pressure.

What to do if my Clarke Power Wash PLS195A Pressure Washer has no pressure on initial use?
    • C
      Chelsea DunnAug 17, 2025
If your Clarke Pressure Washer lacks pressure upon initial use, it could be due to several reasons. Ensure your water supply can deliver 5 gallons per minute at 20psi. Check for leaks in the high-pressure hose fitting, and tighten it, using sealant tape if needed. Clear any obstructions from the nozzle and remove and clean the water filter screen if it's clogged. Also, if there is air in the supply hose, turn off the engine and water supply, disconnect the water supply from the pump inlet, and turn on the water to expel the air. Reconnect the hose, turn on the water supply, and pull the trigger to expel any air in the gun/wand.

      Jennifer StokesAug 20, 2025

Why Clarke Power Wash PLS195A won't draw detergent?
    • X
      xnixonAug 25, 2025
If your Clarke Pressure Washer won't draw detergents, the chemical filter might be blocked, so clean the filter. The chemicals being used might be too thick, so dilute them to the consistency of water. If the high pressure hose is too long, use a longer supply hose instead. If there is chemical build up inside the chemical injector, have the parts cleaned or replaced by your dealer.
