Why does my Clarke Pressure Washer have no pressure?
    • J
      Jack HendersonJul 30, 2025
If your Clarke Pressure Washer lacks pressure upon initial use, check for a leak in the high-pressure hose fitting and tighten it, using sealant tape if needed. Clear any obstruction from the nozzle and remove and clean the water filter screen. Ensure the high pressure hose is under 100 feet. Expel air from the hose by turning off the engine and water supply, disconnecting the water source, and then turning the water on to remove air. Reconnect the hose, turn the water on, and pull the trigger to expel air from the gun/lance. Also, set the choke lever to the OFF position and ensure the throttle control lever is adequately high.

What to do if Clarke Pressure Washer will not draw chemicals?

      adunnAug 3, 2025
To address the issue of your Clarke Pressure Washer not drawing chemicals, start by cleaning the chemical filter. If the chemicals are too thick, dilute them to a water-like consistency. Ensure you're using a longer supply hose instead of a longer high-pressure hose. If there’s chemical buildup inside the chemical injector, it is recommended to have the parts cleaned or replaced by your dealer.

This is a safety feature and should be expected. The pump cools itself by releasing some of the hot water within and replacing it with fresh ‘cool’ water.

Why is water leaking at the pump of my Clarke TIGER1700 Pressure Washer?
    • S
      Stephen SmithAug 25, 2025
If water is leaking at the pump of your Clarke Pressure Washer, first check for loose connections and tighten them. If the leak persists, the piston packings may be worn and require replacement by your dealer, or the O-rings may be worn or broken, also requiring replacement. Damage to the pump head or tubes from freezing could also cause leaks, in which case, replacement by your dealer is necessary.
