5. Troubleshootingguide
Problem Solution
The temperature
on thetransmitter’s
display is not thesame
as theoutdoor
temperature displayed
on thereceiver.
Wait 1–2 minutes to make sure that thetransmitter and
receiver are in sync. Ifnot, synchronise theunits again
by holding in [Channel] for three seconds until asignal
isheard.
The temperature on
thetransmitter seems
to be too high.
Make sure that thetransmitter is not placed in direct
sunlight or next to aheat source.
The receiver cannot
receive signals and
display them.
Synchronise theunits again.
The temperature might be below -30 ºC.
The sensor’s batteries need replacing.
Move thereceiver and thesensor closer to each other.
Make sure that thesensor is placed away from
electrical interference.
The range of theunits is affected by their position in
relation to various obstacles or walls. Experimentuntil
you find thebest position.
The functions are
behaving abnormally
or not working at all.
The instrument needs to be reset. Dothis by replacing
thebatteries in both thesensor and receiver.
