3. Setup
3.1 Setting thetime, date and language
Setting theclock
1. Hold[Mode/Snooze] for three seconds until asignal is heard and you come to
thesettings mode. The digits of theclock display will flash.
2. Press[Hour/+/Max] to set thehours and press [Minute/-/Min] to set theminutes.
3. Whilesetting theclock, press [Alarm/C/F] to switch between 12 and 24 hour
clock. In12-hour display mode, AM or PM is also shown on thedisplay.
Setting thedate
1. Ifyou are not already in thetime and date settings mode, press and hold in
[Mode/Snooze] for three seconds until asignal is heard and you come to
thesettings mode. Press[Mode/Snooze] once again until thedate display
beginsto flash.
2. Press[Hour/+/Max] to set themonth and press [Minute/-/Min] to set theday.
Press[Channel] to set theday of theweek.
Press [C/F] if you want to leave thesettings mode.
Setting thelanguage
1. Pressand hold [Mode/Snooze] for three seconds until asignal is heard and you
come to thesettings mode. Press [Mode/Snooze] again until theletter representing
alanguage (D for German, E for English, F for French or I for Italian) flashes.
2. Thenset thelanguage using [Hour/+/Max] and [Minute/-/Min].
Press [C/F] if you want to leave thesettings mode.
Setting time zone 2 (to display thetime in another time zone)
1. If you are not already in thetime and date settings mode, press and hold in
[Mode/Snooze] for three seconds until asignal is heard and you come to
thesettings mode. Pressrepeatedly on [Mode/Snooze] until “ZONE00” begins
toflash.
2. Then select thedesired time zone (-1 to -12/+1 to +12) using [Hour/+/Max] and
[Minute/-/Min].
