Testing Procedures
Function Test
Open door detection Check on JP8 P1 when pump's door is closed should be less
than 0.4v and more than 4.5v when the door is open.
Alarms Air Load an administration set into the pump, Locate the pump after
the injection port. Using a syringe, insert into the set an air
bubble of 10mm, check if Air alarm will be activated, once the
air bubble enters the administration set located behind the
pump's door.
High pressure Load an administration set into the pump. Connect a pressure
gage at the end of the administration set, start a program (rate:
50ml/hr VTBI 20ml). Check that the Hi pressure alarm is
activated once the measured pressure amount becomes 0.7 bar.
When performing the above mentioned test set the Hi pressure
alarm level high.
Fill / Bad Set Load an administration set, without the NIKI Valve. The pump
will alarm fill set after 30 sec, or bad set when 15 ml are
completed.
