Replacing an Ingredient Cartridge

Remove the empty ingredient
cartridge from the plastic tray
and clean with approved food
grade sanitizer.
NOTE: Always remove and replace one
cartridge at a time to avoid inserting it
into the incorrect slot.

Using a clean sanitized towel,
dip in approved sanitizer solution
and wipe the probes.

Shake the new cartridge
vigorously. Open new cartridge

Remove (outer) white dust-cap
prior to placing cartridge into
plastic tray.

Place ingredient cartridge into
plastic tray and ensure plastic
aligns with tray.

Remove pull-ring seal prior to
inserting into the dispenser.
7
Insert cartridge into appropriate
slot.
8
Close the dispenser door and
follow on-screen instructions to
complete the cartridge prime
process (instructions on page 10).
If you’re sure that an ingredient cartridge is empty, follow these procedures
to replace it:

to prevent dispensing issues.
Plastic trays can be ordered by
calling 1-800-241-COKE (2653).
NOTE: When disposing of a used
SmartPAK cartridge, keep in mind that its
paperboard shell is recyclable. The inner
plastic liner is not, and should be removed
and disposed of separately in a regular
waste stream (garbage).
